March Saturday Stamp Club!

The Saturday Stamping Club was very challenging yesterday and LOVED it!! Daphne's class is always a great one!!


This is a 2 part card...a pull tag (she had quite a few sentiments and I chose You Make Me Smile).
Then, there is also a thumb wheel under the card flap. We punched out a window, added a scalloped oval nestie, and brads. (Daphne heat embossed 63 yellow and orange brads with PURPLE). Cute huh? Didn't know ya could emboss brads to make your own color!!!

The thumb wheel has a sweet 1/2 circle stamp that we stamped 2x to make the circle and colored in the flowers.

2nd card is pink CS, stamped with a beautiful floral overall stamp on one side and a sentiment on the other. Cut a small slit in the top to tie the ribbon around and viola! You have a sweet card that took only a couple minutes to make!!

The True Blue Friend card was my swap. Sorry about the lighting.

I used the new EK success wavy dotted border punch, a MS scallop border punch, paper is DCWV spring stack 2008, stamp is from Stampin' Up Punches 3 set.

I made this sweet card last night for one of my friends. She's going to pick up the Florez CD and have them sign it this Thursday up in Greenville SC (since the band didn't have any with them (shame on you Erik...))

I used the Le Creme stack that Joanne got me for both the background and the scallop oval nestie, ivory cardstock and a "hello" stamp punched with my SU oval punch. A guitar cut out of the Rockstar stack, & left over black organza ribbon...and that, my friends, is it! Viola.

Daphne's Fantastic Friday card class, March Edition!

I had to miss this class last Friday due to that place I have to go everyday...the OFFICE!

So Joanne got mine for me. She did the Easter Bunny one...good thing too...it's got a surprise under the bunny on the front.

Inside the card she stamped "Easter wishes with lots of hugs and kisses"

Look like she used Cuttlebug Swiss dots folder and the SU Scallop border punch.

The next one she embossed "Thinking of You" in white. Hard to see but parts of the front cs are run thru the crimper...about an inch, 2 times....and can I just profess my love for that ribbon!!!

Thank you Daphne for these ideas and thanks Jo for putting the work into them for me! Can I just say...I have some of the bestest friends in the world!!

GECKO...this is the money you could be saving. NOT.

We went to the new Petco that just opened today....I see an aquarium full of baby gecko's... SaMi has been wanting one for 5 or 6 years but no one has ever had any. I texted her a pic, told her the price (have never seen them soo cheap) and she wanted it! (it was 8:15 and they close at 9). still had to come home to get her so we could go back to pick out her baby.
We finished setting her new baby up in her new home at about 10pm. (already had the aquarium and bowls) Just needed to scrub everything out from sitting in the garage for so long. and add the blue sand (which will make him turn blue..or so I hear)

She's sooo happy.

I think she's naming it Androclese (sp?) "ANDI" for short. Androclese was the lion who was going to kill a mouse, but the mouse said, certainly you don't want to eat me. I will help you. The lion got a huge painful thorn and the mouse pulled it out and the Lion was forever grateful.
If I'm wrong about this story, please let me know.

I'm off tomorrow...was going to paint but I think I'll get the paint shaken at HD (Home Depot, not Harley), buy my rake, supplies, and spend the rest of the day making cards from my new FREE DCWV Le Crema that my sweet friend Joanne sent me!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Went to see Florez (www.myspace.com/florez) tonight at Fla Tech. They are amazing...been a fan for 4 years but never got the chance to see them live. AMAZING!!!


I had the front row to MYself, almost...(cept for the guy with the booty shakin' dance...trying to win a Florez shirt)!!!



Bass player, Erik, is the very hottttttttt Erik from Survivor China, who is engaged to Jamie from Survivor China...yes, they met on SURVIVOR!!!! They are Christians...and Erik took a LOT of slack for it...Jamie is a special girl. Saw your promise ring tonight Erik!!! What a testimony to WHO you ARE!

Thanks for playing Sweet Tea and you BLEW ME away with my luv, Mr. Jimi Hendrix...which turned into Amazing Grace. WOW!!!

Justin, if you read this, you are a very talented drummer with guns and personality. You bring alot of talent to this wonderful musical family. Really enjoyed watching and listening to your talent.
