Mom in 1970.To my friends and family, it is with sadness, yet peace, that I tell you my Mom passed away today. It's been a long (6 years) battle dealing with Alzheimers Disease. I pray no one ever has a loved one that is afflicted with this terrible illness.

For the first time in my life, my Mom was peaceful as I held her hand as she took her last breath.

This was a beautiful day to meet Jesus!!! I can only pray that she had a wonderful journey.

Just some things I made the other night at a crop.

Card: SU cardstock, purple paper: scrap. Music stamp:Stampendous "Music Score" with white pigment ink, Guitar stamp: Inkadinkado w/black ink. Rock Star stamp: Stampin Up! "A Little Somethin'", ribbon: scrap.

Card: generic 6x6 CS, purple layer: scrap, lilac layer, scrap run thru Sizzix embossing plate, guitar and 'You Rock' stamp: Inkadinkado, border punch for 'You Rock' Stampin' Up! Eyelet Border, 3 brads (scrap drawer).

I admit it, I've been a slacker. I haven't posted anything since Easter.

Today, my wonderful soul sister Judy came into the office bearing many gifts for MOI!! and she's the one who just had surgery, the nut!!

She gave me lovely pretty paper, very cool punches I've never seen before, and embellies galore!!!! Check it out!!! This is JUST the box of embellies!!!!

So, I couldn't wait to make her another card!!! (I already have one congratulating her for her brand new (1st) grandbaby).

I hope she doesn't read this yet, here's the Sweet One card too:

I'm on vaca for the next 2 days so I'm sure I'll be posting a bunch of new stuff!
