In Loving Memory of Richard
Giorgio
05/20/1959 - 12/13/1995

Rich was an active member of Hillsboro County ABATE.
He was originally from NY, and was living and working in Melbourne. FL.
He had become an active participant with Independence Chapter activities.
Rich was 36 years old.
I will always remember him dearly.
Name
by the Goo Goo Dolls
(one of his favorite songs)
and even though the moment passed
me by
i still can't turn away
i saw the dreams you never thought you'd lose tossed along the way
letters that you never meant to send lost or thrown away
and now we're grown up orphans that never knew their names
don't belong to no one that's a shame
you could hide beside me maybe for a while
and i won't tell no one your name
i won't tell them your name
scars are souvenirs you never lose
the past is never far
did you lose yourself somewhere out there?
did you get to be a star?
don't it make you sad to know that life is more than who we are
you grew up way too fast now there's nothing to believe
and reruns all become our history
a tired song keeps playing on a tired radio
and i won't tell no one your name
i won't tell them your name
think about you all the time but i don't need the same
if it's lonely where you are, come back down
and i won't tell them your name...
In Loving Memory of Michelle Blount
May 25, 1964 - July 25, 2000

another Rider in the Sky
Michelle served as Membership
coordinator for Brevard County Chapter, ABATE of Florida.
Michelle was a hard working member of ABATE.
Along with her duties as Membership Coordinator, you would find her
working many hours at the campgrounds during Bike Week.
She will be missed by all members of ABATE.
She was taken from us long before her time, and now she watches from above.
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I am following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
to laugh to love, to work or play...
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a life, a kiss,
Ah, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with time of sorrow,
I wish to you the sunshine of tomorrow.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free!!!!
If TOMORROW
NEVER COMES
Author Unknown, but very wise
If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep,
If
I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for more.
If
I knew it would be the last time I'd hear what your voice would say,
I would video tape each action and word, so I could see them day after
day.
If
I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two
to stop and say "I LOVE YOU," instead of assuming, you KNOW I
do.
If
I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just one slip away.
For
surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance to make everything right.
There
will always be another day to say our "I love you's,"
And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can
do's?"
But
just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope you never forget,
Tomorrow
is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.
So
if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That
you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
you were just too busy to grant someone, their one last wish.
So
hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them and you'll always hold them dear,
Take
time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," or "It's
okay."
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have NO regrets about today
